PREDAVANjE NA ENGLESKOM JEZIKU ZA STUDENTE GEOGRAFSKOG FAKULTETA

Dear all,

The linear economy means taking raw materials, producing, using and disposal products. This approach led us to air, water and soil pollution, resource depletion and huge amount of waste, high GHG emissions and loss of biodiversity. The question is how to change our economic system and make it more sustainable.
Circular economy is a new approach of production and consumption, in which all materials and energy circulate. All products after consumption should be considered as a resource and should go at the beginning of the line. It means that industries will use it instead of raw materials and the loop will be closed.
Join me in a discussion about the circular economy on Friday 7th December at 2p.m. in Library of Faculty of Geography (Studentski trg 3/3). After a short presentation about the concept of circular economy, we will discuss how to apply this approach in student`s life.
Best,
Tijana Ležaić
