The third Romanian-Bulgarian-Hungarian-Serbian conference was held at Srebrno Lake from 18. to 21. September 2014.
Faculty of Geography-University of Belgrade and Faculty of Sciences – University of Novi Sad, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management organized the third international Romanian-Bulgarian-Hungarian-Serbian conference, which was held at Srebrno Lake from 18. to 21. September 2014.
The conference theme was “Geographical Research and Cross-Border Cooperation in the lower basin of the Danube.”
The aim of the conference was to bring together geographers and other researchers from European countries in order to share experiences, knowledge and research results on all aspects of geography, strengthening cross-border cooperation and the establishment of a working group that will enable the affirmation, promotion and dissemination of new developmental, educational, scientific and research ideas and concepts, the strengthening of economic and social development capacities of the lower basin of the Danube.
A large number of domestic and foreign scientists and experts as well as representatives of local government, provincial and national government took an active part in the conference. [pictures link]
