The International Year of Caves and Karst (IYCK)

The International Year of Caves and Karst (IYCK) is a global non-profit project aimed at educating the public about these very important and widespread natural resources. The organizer is the International Speleological Union (UIS), an international organization for research, study and protection of caves and karsts, which has 55 member states. Over 100 national and international organizations are partners of UIS in this project that will provide educational and entertainment content with the aim of raising global awareness of caves and karst.
