Uroš Durlević

Uroš Durlević was born on December 26th 1996 in Priština. He finished the High School of Economics and Trade “Jovan Cvijić” in Štrpce. He enrolled in undergraduate studies in the field of Geospatial and Environmental Science in 2015. In 2019, he completed his undergraduate thesis – “Analysis of natural conditions, noise levels, ionizing and electromagnetic radiation in the municipality of Štrpce” under the supervision of Ph.D. Ivan Novković, thus became a graduate geographer, with an average grade of 9.40. In the same year, he enrolled in the master’s academic studies in the field of Geospatial and Environmental Science, and finished with an average grade of 10. He completed his master thesis “Analysis of the threat to the territory of the municipality of Štrpce by natural hazards” in 2020 under the mentorship of Ph.D. Ivan Novković, thus became a master geographer. In the school year 2020/21. he enrolled in PhD studies in the study program of Geosciences. At the Faculty of Geography, from the school year 2019/20. he was hired as a demonstrator in teaching at the Department of Geospatial and Environmental Science. He was elected as a junior researcher in March 2021. During his undergraduate and master studies, Uroš Durlević was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Since 2019, he has been the editor-in-chief of the student journal “Ekogea”. He participated as a researcher in the project “Forest and Climate”. This project was awarded with the European and World Prize, which is given to innovative solutions that contribute to the development of society and the environment. So far, he has participated in several scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad.
