Ph.D. Ivan Ratkaj

In 1998, Ivan Ratkaj earned a B.Sc. in Geography from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Geography.

He received a magister degree (2004) and a Ph.D. (2008) in Human Geography from the Faculty of Geography in Belgrade.

Dr. Ratkaj has been a member of the Department of Human Geography at the Faculty of Geography in Belgrade since 1999: junior assistant and teaching assistant (1999-2008), assistant professor (2008-2014), associate professor (2014-2018), full Professor (2018-).

His research interests include social, economic and urban geography.

He participated in 10 research projects of national and international importance.

Dr. Ratkaj has authored 2 books, 5 book chapters, more than 30 peer reviewed papers, and numerous conference presentations.
