Andrijana Mirković Svitlica

Andrijana Mirković Svitlica was born on November 17, 1982 in Belgrade. She finished the XV Belgrade Gymnasium, as well as the high school of music “Kornelije Stanković” – violin department. She graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. She defended her diploma thesis on the topic: “The role of performance evaluation in employee motivation – analysis of the practice of ‘Star City’ hotels and casinos” with a grade of 10 and gained the title of graduate economist. She enrolled in master studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, in the same year, majoring in Economic Policy and Development, which she completed in 2010 with an average grade of 10.00 and a grade of 10 for the defense of a master’s thesis entitled “Contemporary concept of regional development and regionalization of the Republic of Serbia” acquiring the title of master economist. Since 2011, she has been enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade – study group Economics.

She has been employed at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade since October 2008 as a teaching associate at the Department of Spatial Planning. In June 2011 she has been hired as a researcher on the scientific project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia no. 176017 “Problems and tendencies of development of geospatial systems of the Republic of Serbia”. In October 2020, she was elected as an assistant for the narrow scientific field of Spatial Planning for the economic group of subjects.
