Ph.D. Aljoša Budović
Aljoša Budović is а teaching assistant at the Department for Human Geography, Faculty of Geography in Belgrade. He defended his PhD thesis Dynamics and factors of localisation of knowledge-intensive business services in Belgrade at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Geography in 2020.
He participated in two international projects: Tourism and Regional Development in Montenegro (2009) and Innovation and Creative Industry in SEE (2013), both supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). During 2015, he participated in the research of cultural tourism in Belgrade organized by ATLAS Cultural Tourism Group.
In 2016, he was awarded the BAYHOST Mobility Grant within the program Research sojourn of students and early-stage researchers at the Institute for Geography, Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg, Germany.
He is engaged in the scientific project Problems and Tendencies of Development of Geospatial Systems of the Republic of Serbia, financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
His research focuses on economic and urban geography. His most recent studies considered changes in spatial distribution of knowledge-intensive business services and evolution of hotel geography in post-socialist cities.
