Systematic overview of transport. Analysis of relations between transport and tourism activity at different spatial levels - from local to global. Identifying the different roles of transport in a tourist product.

Students will be able to able to acquire comprehensive understanding of diversified mutual influences between transport and tourism, and to relate theory and practice. Students are expected to develop and apply appropriate knowledge and skills in a wide range of transport-related situations.

5. Transport as a factor in the development of the economy and society.
6. Characteristics and structure of transportation costs. Tariffs in transport.
7-8). Models of transport accessibility.
9-11. Causal relations (positive and negative) between transport and tourism.
12-14. Transport as a subsystem of a tourist product. The role of transport in a tourist product.
15. Innovations in the organization of tourist trips.
