To get to know the past, current situation and prospects of tourism development in Serbia and the European Union, as well as possible connections and conditionality; Determine the place of tourism in the Serbian economy and define the directions of its further development based on the selected priority regions and centers.

Based on the fundamental and integral study of the peculiarities of tourism development in Serbia and the European Union, students will master the essential knowledge and competencies necessary for a successful tourist valorization of the natural and anthropogenic values ​​of our country, using the experiences from the European Union; Students will also be trained to find adequate opportunities to take our country into the EU's tourism streams.

Analysis of plans of tourist centers and regions of Serbia and the European Union. Tourist map of the country. Analysis of the main directions of tourism trends in Serbia and the European Union (comparative overview of tourism by season and type). Serbia and the European Union: types of tourism in the past, today and in the future. Review of basic and supplementary literature from the field of tourism in Serbia and the European Union.
