The objective of the course is to introduce students to the basics of tourism geography, numerous structural features and contemporary trends and geospatial transformations. Given that this program is based on a combination of theoretical, professional and applied knowledge, its main goal is to prepare and train students to independently perform specialized jobs in the field of tourism geography, and to define, based on the importance of historical, socio-geographical, economic and other factors types, forms and motives of tourist movements, perform the tourist regionalization of the world and Serbia.

Training students to understand the basic elements, motives and factors of tourism trends. It is especially important for students to be able to analyze the tourist resources, understand the function of space in tourism, inventory, systematisation of spaces and specially protected values through the application of these knowledge.
