Specific Forms of Tourism (NOT41O5)

Students should acquire professional knowledge and skills regarding the diversification of the development of tourism. One of the goals is recognition and analysis of various examples of special interest forms of tourism and the possibility of involving Serbia on the world market.

The aim is preparation and training of students for independent work in the area of tourism demand and offer regarding special interest forms of tourism. This course will educate personnel who will possess applicable knowledge and skills in the area of new forms of tourism development, which are changing and developing on a daily basis.

  2. The development of tourism from elite tourism to mass tourism to special interest tourism
  3. The definition and typology of special interest tourism.
  4. Specificity and characteristics of tourist offer for new forms of tourism travel
  5. Globalization and tourism
  6. Congress tourism
  7. Ecotourism
  8. Adventure tourism
  9. Backpacking and individual youth travel
  10. Eno tourism and wine tourist regions
  11. Nautical tourism
  12. Religious tourism
  13. Dark tourism and thanatourism attractions
  14. Hunting tourism
  15. The possibilities and potentials for development of special interest tourism in Serbia.

Practiacal lectures

  1. Individual work and work on case analysis from international and domestic practice
  2. Methodology for the preparation and oral presentation of seminar papers.
  3. Analysis of literature for seminar papers.
