Introduction with methods in physico-geographical research and their practical application.

Mastering physico-geographic methods and their application in practice. Ability to independently research and write physico-geographical work.

Theoretical lectures

Qualitative and quantitative maps analysis; Physico-chemical methods of analysis and synthesis related to chemical erosion, denudation and accumulation; Empirical methods in the study of mechanical water erosion.

River network ranging methods; Determination and graphical representation of the density of the river network;

Determination of river basin forms and their graphical representation; River basin growing plot;

Hipsographic curve; Water regime - division of hydrograms; Method of graphic analysis of water regimes.

Climatological data processing; Analysis of climatic elements; Climate classification, Complex climate analysis.
