Introducing students with basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the domain of regional planning. Particular emphasis is put on mastering and participating in current integration processes: interregional and transregional cooperation and development.
Training students for participation in the preparation and implementation of regional spatial plans.
Theoretical lectures
Fundamentals of the theory of regional development: unevenness of development in space, regional doctrines, region and regionalization, regional analysis, regional disparities, regional development strategy, regional goals and development priorities, scenarios of regional development; history and experiences of regional development of Serbia.
Practical lectures
Preparation of practical work related to the simulation of the regional spatial plan - examples on the territory of Serbia; Preparation of seminar work related to the regional planning policy of Serbia and the European Union.
