Training students for work on collecting and processing information in the field of tourism, getting acquainted with the activities of a tourist operator, acquiring experiences in activities related to the practice of tourism development. The practice is conceived so that it takes place in different environments, with the aim of comprehensively understanding tourism. Involving students in direct work in the tourism industry in the fourth year of studies is carried out, in accordance with the curriculum, course Hotel management, in hostels and hotels. The ultimate goal of the practice, lasting 15 days, is the formation of personnel for inclusion in tourism as a business. The high degree of interaction in hotels and hostels cause the cooperation and team work for students and employees.

Prior to the practice, the teacher in charge of practice gives the students instructions for writing a daybook and conducting a practice. Quality professional practice is designed and implemented in cooperation with the employees of the hostels (hotels), in order to define what the student should learn and do. Upon completion of the practice, which will be realized during the summer vacation, the agency issues a certificate of passed practice. The student certifies the professional practice by issuing a certificate of practice and a daybook. The teacher and student discuss about the practice, summarizing the results, knowledge and experience acquired during the practice. Vocational training of students is planned at the time of the summer holiday, as it does not disturb the course of teaching.
