Presenting an initial knowledge of tourism as a complex socio-cultural, economic and spatial phenomenon; Determination of structural, functional and typological characteristics of a tourism phenomenon; Defining spatial, sociological and economic dimensions in tourism; Analysis of the importance and characteristics of touristtraffic as the most complex category of tourism phenomenon;
Training students to identify, systematize and classify elements of tourism flows, as well as tourist attractions that are the main incentives for such flows; The development of creative and critical thinking of students on the functions, factors and forms of tourism transport, through considering the transformation of geographic space, caused by the tourist traffic; Adoption of essential knowledge needed for the implementation of a complex process of tourist valorization;
