Main subject goal is to make students capable for autonomous participation in the process of spatial and urban plans preparation as independent expert familiar with integral spatial infrastructure.
Expected learning outcome is capability to participate in spatial and urban plan preparation and implementation.
Theoretical lectures
- Basic infrastructure systems characteristics: The role in spatial organization and development
- Spatial-functional conceptions, locations and interdependence. Regional infrastructure systems.
- Grow thresholds. Programming.
- Suprastructure and infrastructure relations: Infrastructure equipment. Mutual relations between urban parameters of residential zones and extent of infrastructure equipment
- Infrastructure systems in spatial plans: Spatial plan (Development strategy) of Serbia, Regional, Spatial plans of Special Purposes and Spatial Plan of the Local Self-government
- Infrastructure systems and urban plans: General urban plan, Plan of overall organization, General regulation plan and Detail regulation plan
- Infrastructure planning methodology: Infrastructure systems planning principles, Cities, Regions and settlements
- Types of plans. Methodological process, contents and activities, consideration and adoption. Priorities selection. Realization programming.
- Traffic infrastructure planning
- Water management infrastructure planning
- Energy infrastructure planning
- Telecommunication planning
- Social infrastructure and communal services planning
- Infrastructure maintaining and reconstruction
- Infrastructure construction financing models.
Practical lectures
Group work with specific topic, problem area or administrative area. The content of the thematic exercise is the following: Infrastructure in development strategy document – methodological framework (within spatial plans and thematic strategies). Data collection modes, Public Enterprises requests, Development goals, Analyses, Processing and presentation, Evaluation, Priorities, Solutions, Connections and relations with other systems and structures, , Text synthesis and graphical representation (mapping), Public presentation.
