The subject of the study of economic geography and its place in the system of science. Methods of economic and geographical analysis. Trends and Modern Focus in Economic Geography. Economic-geographical systems: territorial structures and processes in economic-geographical systems. Economic-geographical valorization of natural conditions and resources. Population and economic development. Location principles and land use. Models of economic activity locations. Models of regional development. Geographical Perspectives of Sustainable Development and Economic Growth. Global economic development. The role of multinational companies. The role of international economic organizations and integration. International trade. Economic-geographic regions of the world. Highly developed regions of the world (European Union, Anglo-American, Japan). Medium-developed regions of the world (economic semi-production: Eastern Europe and Russia, China, etc.). Insufficiently developed regions (developing countries). The poorest regions of the world. Economic-geographical position and regionalization of Serbia.
Practical lectures
Economic-geographical regions and regionalization. Indicators of the degree of economic development of the region. Global structure of land use. Factors and models of economic activities. Economic-geographical valorization of Teritory. Methods of modeling economic-geographical phenomena and processes. Methods of economic and geographical assessment of regional development.
