Geography of Neighboring Countries (NOG42O6)

To introduce students to the laws of development and regional deployment of geographic objects, phenomena and processes outside the borders of Serbia in the territory of neighboring countries, as well as the significance of integration processes in South East Europe.

Training of students for research of developmental features of neighboring countries.

Theoretical lectures

1. Spatial concept of Southeastern Europe, the Balkans and the Balkan Peninsula, 2. Geographical position, similarities and differences of neighboring countries, 3. Natural-geographical features of neighboring countries, 4. Socio-geographical features of neighboring countries, 5. Territorial-political development, 6. Regional structure of neighboring countries, 7. Montenegro, 8. Bosnia and Herzegovina, 9. Croatia, 10. Macedonia, 11. Hungary, 12. Romania. 13. Bulgaria, 14. Albania. 15. Integration processes in South East Europe - Euroregions (relations of Serbia with neighboring countries).

Practical lectures

Addressing teaching topics through specific tasks for students. Methodology of seminar work and defense of seminar papers. Calculating indicators, drawing graphic representations, analyzing and interpreting data, charts and maps.
