Introduction to basic types of hydrological objects, their origin, properties and forms of use. Also, the goal is to get attention to the state of quantity and quality of waters on Earth and the measures that are taken to protect them.

The ability to detect ecological water problems, as well as to examine the causes of pollution and degradation of water bodies and to find appropriate measures for their protection.
