The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the place and role of demography in the system of population sciences, to get acquainted with the theoretical, methodological and logical bases of the research of population phenomena that are in the domain of demography and related sciences integrated into the system of population sciences, to understand the importance of multidisciplinary studying the population and develop the ability of systemic approach in studying the population.
