Theoretical lectures
Divergent population trends on macro, meso and micro territorial levels - causes and consequences.
Issues and problems of reproduction of the population: the state and development of reproductive models. Movement of fertility in the post-transition stage of demographic development. Demographic characteristics and the significance of baby boom generations. Transition of twinhood and family structures. Mortality transitions are still opportunities. Transition determinants of natural regeneration of the population. Transformation of determinants and the consequence of contemporary internal and international migrations of the population. Serbia in the international migration system. Gender gap and gender balance as a demographic phenomenon. Concepts of population aging. The concept of globalization and labor. Demography and Human Rights, UN Millennium Goals, Poverty and Human Resources. Similarities and differences of demographic phenomena and processes in Serbia and EU countries.
