- Teacher:
Cartography (NOT21O2)
- Subject status: obligatory
- ECTS: 6
- Semester: III
- Number of classes: 2+2
The objects of the studies are mathematical-cartographic methods, geographic map elements, modeling of tourist geo-spatial components and conversion of numerical data into series of indicators. Analog and digital models, which allow faster and easier visualization of space. Tasks of studies are two-way use of indicators of tourist elements: presentation on the map and reading from the map.
Based on the knowledge of mathematical-cartographic and geographical elements, students will read the exposed contents of the map and on that basis, an eductive and then productive content, which allows to see the legality and causation of geo-spatial connections. Digital mapping will enable geo-visualization.
