In the year when we celebrate a century and a half from birth and up to date unrivaled Serbian and world geographical scientist, thinker and researcher academician Jovan Cvijić, geographers from Serbia and Europe will gather at the 4^th Serbian Congress of Geographers.

Modern scientific challenges which make up geography actual, include a variety of methodological issues, fundamental and more applied subjects in research, in all geographic disciplines. Geography has retained its identity, but is constantly evolving and contributing to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary in integrated research of space.

Wish of the organizers of the Congress is to bring together geographers and related researchers who will present the results of modern geographical research and point to approaches that will encourage the exchange of scientific and professional experiences and achievements. At the same time, we expect on the basis of current research approaches and challenges which the global, regional and local dimensions of causality intrigued the scientists Serbia and countries in the wider regional environment will be enhanced existing cooperation among all participants of the Congress. We hope that with joint participation we will contribute to conclusions that modern geography is science with perspective, unavoidable in scientific aspirations with needs for complex understanding of space and all appearances, processes and patterns that take place in it.

DEADLINES FOR APPLYING AND SENDING PAPERS
Deadline for submitting the abstract up to 300 words: 1^st September 2015.
Deadline for sending the final version of the paper: 1^st November 2015.
Subject, abstracts and papers should be send on email address geokongres2015@gmail.com
Paper should be up to six A4 pages in length. Use Times New Roman font 11pt, Latin script, for writhing abstracts and papers. Detailed technical instructions how to write papers will be announced at web site of Faculty of Geography www.gef.bg.ac.rsSubjects and abstracts should be sent on time and in requested form in order to be considered by the Scientific Committee.
One author can submit a maximum two papers.
